My Problems Are Bigger Than Yours

Always, people complain about anything.  They complain about their jobs, their families, their homes, … mere everyday existence is a reason to complain.

Always, people seem to be out to exceed each other’s predicaments. People compete to be ‘more anything’ negative.

Always, someone is more aggrieved than the others; someone’s work is more demanding, lower-paying, harder than another’s; someone’s problems are bigger and more unbearable than another’s; someone is more stressed, more overworked, more unfortunate, more underprivileged, more misunderstood, more wretched, more sick, more mistreated, more neglected, more overweight…

…which is true.

Someone is more aggrieved than you; someone’s work is more demanding, lower-paying, harder than yours; someone’s problems are bigger and more unbearable than yours;

Someone is more stressed, more overworked, more unfortunate, more underprivileged, more misunderstood, more wretched, more sick, more mistreated, more neglected than you… fatter than you.

So…

Stop feeling sorry for yourself.  Start having a good time. Be thankful you’re not that ‘someone’.
